• Tahhh… Cream puffs.. one of my favorite desert dish all time. I love cream puff so much that when I was a kid, I used to took them from my friends if they dont eat it. Boy, it makes me wanna puff.

    Enough chitty chatty i guess, now its the recipe. For sho.

    Cream Puff  Recipe


    The recipe is divided into 2 parts: the cream puff pastry and the filling

    Cream puff pastry

    Ingredients:

    • 1/2 cup  of butter
    • 1 cup of boiling water
    • 1 cup of flour
    • 1/4 teaspon of salt
    • 4 eggs

    Direction:


    Put boil the water in the small sauce pan with the butter, use high heat and stir it until the butter is melted and the liquid start boil crazily.

    Immediately add flour and salt, but raise the sauce pan above the heat ( so the flour wont get startled by the heat).

    Stir and stir and stir biskily. Get the mixture to form a ball in the middle of the saucepan.

    ... and done.

    Keep cooking and stiring for about 30 sec. and then remove from heat.

    Break and egg into the mix, beat it fast so it would blend with the mixture until its smooth and fluffy. Repeat 3 times ( use all 4 eggs)

    Baking time:

    Use an decorator bag is the best for the job, with a big end. Or else, be cheap like me and use ur ziplog, cut the hole at the end, and use it. Works magic.

    Squeeze your favorite size into the ungrease baking sheet ( I used parchment paper), get it around 3 inches apart.

    Bake in 350F in about 35-40 mins. If it is golden brown, its good.

    Let it cool. Mean while, time for the filling.

    Put it all together:

    this part is a little bit tricky if you don’t have a food syringe. One quick, cut the top open and use a spoon to put the filling in. The dough and the filling should be cooled down then you do so.
